This site is a tribute to Andy. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Andy was brought up in Norfolk and he found much solace in the Norfolk countryside. As both a naturalist and an ornithologist he respected the work of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and he would have appreciated any donations made to them to further their great work.

Andy volunteered for the River Wey Trust locally. The charity coordinate historical, environmental, and wildlife conservation and management along the southern branch of the River Wey for the education and benefit of the public, including the creation and construction of public access where practical.

Andy was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer in April 2023 and though he was very fit and healthy the disease was very aggressive and treatment options were sadly very limited. Bowel Cancer UK are the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer.
